Nabby Clifford, the Ambassador of Reggae in Brazil, was born in Ghana / West Africa, from
where he left very young, and began his musical career by participating in school bands. He went through several countries as Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, Ivory Coast, France, Italy, England
and French Guiana experiencing many local cultures.
Coming to Brazil, Nabby Clifford has created a band, his main mission was to establish reggae music in the country. As DJ he presented in Radio Fluminense FM (94.9) the first radio program in Brazil
Reggae by the name of "Positive and also "Positive Reggae Design" on Radio Costa Verde FM (97.1).
Nabby promoted many shows of Reggae, shows with his band in various places among others as Circo Voador, Bali Bar (Itanhangá), Jazzmania , Babylonia and several Brazilian cities.
His song has been synchronized at the most important soap-opera in Brazil on Globo TV as "Corpo e Alma", "Presença de Anita" and others (“Sweet Ragga Music” and "Summer
Groove," both sound recorded by Som Livre)
Over the time, Nabby is participating in several musical projects standing out with Paralamas do Sucesso: Bi Ribeiro and João Barone (forming the Mighty Reggae Beat), and recordings with
singers and bands like Vinny, Latino, Mr Sombra, Braga Boys, the actress Suzana Alves and many others.
Currently, Nabby is in the studio preparing its 5th CD with the music producer Claudio Kote and participating in projects with partnership with Digital Dubs and Sound System Brazil
of Fernando Costa (Tambores/ Oi FM) and soon the launch of his autobiography book.
The new song called Rub Dub Patner was choose by the specialized Folha de São Paulo newspaper (08/10/2008 - Bruna Bittencourt) as one of the best songs of Collection produced by
Digital Dubs "Funk Milk Riddim."
In addition to presenting concerts in with his band, Nabby, also minister lectures on ethics in African forums, universities, schools, culturals centers, ALERJ, (OAB) etc.
